A rare archive film follows the 1977 Indo - New Zealand Ganges Expedition as Ed Hillary and his team attempt to jet boat the river from the sea to the snow fields of the Himalaya.

This unique film is a travel diary from 1995 that accompanies the German musician Uwe Berkemer and the Caucasian Chamber Orchestra from rehearsals to the concerts in the most distant parts of the Caucasus, entering at times in the homes of the musicians to tell the story of their lives and hopes for their native lands.
