Genre: Mountain Documentary Films & Movies

The documentary film and movie library is growing fast and we plan for it to be used worldwide as a research facility. The SteepEdge team feels strongly that historically important films should be seen and not gather dust in TV archives. Here we give you an eclectic mix or the history of mountaineering and adventure sports with Triumph and Tragedy on K2, the rarely seen area of Siachen in A War For Ice, the finding of George Mallory in Lost on Everest, quintessential 1930’s Leni Riefenstahl in Storm Uber Mt Blanc through to the 1960’s Welsh scene in The Climbers.
